| Air: Pocket Symphony
Over the past decade, French duo Air has diced up electro-jazz, disco and classical music, sauting them to delicious, pretentious perfection. Since 1998's Moon Safari defined their last-joint-of-the-night vibe, Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicholas Godin have made some of the smartest, most interesting chill music this side of Miles Davis. As mood creationists Air is unparalleled, and Pocket Symphony (released March 6 on Astralwerks) has no greater ambition than giving form and life to a single, sustained musical narrative. The hand of producer extraordinaire Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, Zero 7) is evident in the album's consistent sense of direction. Such consistency, however, does not always work for Air, and at times flirts with predictability. Air's music has always been filled with dark, evocative space and depth.
Appleās latest Mac OS X Leopard build shows unified interface, buh ...
"The latest development build of Mac OS X Leopard [build 9A410] finally tackles issues with consistent style that many say have plagued the Apple software for years," Aidan Malley reports for AppleInsider. Malley reports, "While most of the test versions of the future operating system have so far handled only the many bugs still left in its code, this week's edition allegedly contains the first signs of obvious visual differences between itself and 2005's Mac OS X Tiger." "The brushed-metal look that first appeared in earnest with Panther has almost completely faded away, according to reports. Well-known holdouts for the style, including Finder, Photo Booth, and Safari, have purportedly abandoned the metallic sheen in favor of the simpler, gradiated style that first appeared in Apple Mail 2.0 and later transferred to Leopard's version of iChat and the more widely available iTunes 7," Malley reports.

Tonight film - March 30, 2007
It's a Boy Girl Thing: An unimaginative comedy about two teenagers who swap bodies and learn to understand each other's differences. Bad writing, bad acting and it's a bad idea to go see it. H EN Fearless: This is an old-fashioned martial arts movie with some tricks up its sleeve as the production values are taken a step up. Catch Jet Li at what he does best. HHH DdB Mr Bean: The silent and hapless Mr Bean tries to make it to Cannes, but we know he'll meet trouble along the way. No farting, no hitting and no vulgarity of any kind but this is one best left to the kids. HHH TS Miss Potter: This movie about Beatrix Potter is as innocent and gentle as her books themselves. It tells the story of her fight for independence and struggle to get published and is the sweet and inoffensive story of her life.HHH EN 300: Gorgeously filmed beautiful bodies and lots of gratuitous violence abound in this swords and sandals epic.
